The NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Dec. 21

Today's Marquee Match Up has a rising Seahawk taking his team into a Hawkeye nest.  Find out who else is playing tonight right here ...

Marquee Match Up

8:00pm Wagner @ Texas A&M

Tyler Murray has been playing great so far this season and has been a huge reason for the Seahawks’ reversal of fortunes this year.  But this game will be a big one since it will be his first this season against a top tier team.  Murray and Wagner has been riding a three game losing streak so taking that into College Station the Seahawks are going to have to dig extra deep to pull out a win.  Murray has yet to score in single digits this year but he is coming off back to back games where he’s scored a season low 11 points.  He’ll need to be huge for Wagner to come out on top in this one.

And here is where everyone else is playing today …

5:00pm Maine @ Penn State

6:30pm IPFW @ Purdue

7:00pm Long Beach State @ Arizona State

7:00pm Davidson @ St. Francis (NY)

7:00pm St. Peter’s @ Binghamton

7:30pm Akron vs. Arkansas-Little Rock

8:00pm Chicago State @ Iowa State – Iowa State has won their last four games and this game should make it five in a row.  Melvin Ejim and Jamie Vanderbeken continue to roll through great seasons in that stretch with both players averaging 21 points, 15.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2 steals and 2.3 blocks combined in that span.  This should be a blowout with big games from one or both of the Canadians.

8:00pm Mississippi Valley State @ Marquette

8:00pm Lyon College @ Central Arkansas

8:00pm Louisiana Tech @ Iowa - Olu Ashoalu is coming off a WAC Player of the Week selection which comes at a perfect time.  Going into Iowa with a two game winning streak against a tough Big Ten team, no matter what their current record is, will be like walking into a lion’s den.  This may be a big game for Olu to show that he is a money ball player.

8:00pm Southwest @ McNeese State

8:00pm Murray State @ Tennessee-Martin

8:05pm Dartmouth @ Drake

9:00pm UNLV @ Kansas State

9:00pm Louisiana-Lafayette @ New Mexico State – The impact the Canadians on New Mexico State’s team cannot be any more overstated.  The quartet of Hernst Laroche, Tyrone Watson, Christian Kabongo and Renaldo Dixon account for about half the points and rebounds, 80% of the assists and about 85% of the steals and have been producing from the start of the season in major minutes.  It really is just a matter of which one of the four will have a big game.  Oh yeah, this should be a win.

9:00pm Stanford @ Oklahoma State

9:00pm Arkansas-Pine Bluff @ Denver

9:00pm Eastern Kentucky @ Tennessee State

9:00pm Southeast Missouri State @ Tennessee Tech

10:00pm Idaho @ Oregon
