The Longhorns are taking on a less than strong North Florida team and it should be a great game to see both Tristan Thompson and Cory Joseph play with some freedom, especially since they will be taking on UNC in a few days. With that in mind, this is a great confidence booster game after the blow out to USC last week. Thompson nearly had his third double-double Saturday in the win against Texas State when he went for 14 points and 9 rebounds. Joseph was equally impressive with 19 points and 3 assists connecting on 5 of his 8 three attempts. You should see much of the same type of game tonight from them both so you may want to tune it.

8:35pm Louisiana Tech @ Houston Baptist – Olu Ashoalu has been a walking double-double for the last two years so against Houston Baptist, he could do just that. He has five so far this season and has scored over 20 points in two of the last three games.
9:00pm Drexel @ Louisville
10:00pm Santa Clara @ Pacific – Marc Trasolini came off the bench in the last game for Santa Clara. Not a good sign. After back to back 19 points games against Arizona and Ohio two weeks ago, Traz has scored a total of 7 in the last two games. This game against Pacific, I would expect him to come off the bench again until Coach Keating has more confidence that he’ll be the Traz from last season.
