The NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Nov. 23

Today we have two Marquee Match Ups to watch, one featuring the Dynamic Duo and the other featuring three Canadians.  Find out who else is playing today right here ...

Marquee Match Up

8:00pm Sam Houston State @ Texas

OK so we have two games we think you should watch.  The first one is Texas vs. Sam Houston State.  This will not be a great game to watch in terms of a battle.  The Longhorns should really run all over the Bearkats in this one.  The reason to watch what could be a potential blowout is that in a blowout, you’ll get to see lots of freedom that players may not usually get in tougher games.  That being said, Tristan Thompson and Cory Joseph could go off in a major way.  Now that is always fun to see,

9:05pm New Mexico State @ UTEP

The second game in our marquee matchup features three Canadians.  New Mexico State has Hamilton, ON’s Tyrone Watson and Montreal’s Hernst Laroche in the starting lineup and they have been playing well to this point.  Laroche has been a career starter at the point for the Aggies and this season he’s been showing a lot of offense while still passing the rock.  Watson has been inserted into the starting lineup this season and seems to be playing the role of stopper.  Kabongo has been playing well off the bench and is a dynamic scorer.  Don’t be surprised if you see all three in the starting lineup for this game against the high octane offense of UTEP that features Randy Culpepper.

12:00pm Southern University @ Richmond

4:30pm Bucknell vs. Princeton

4:30pm Winthrop vs. Belmont

7:00pm Colgate @ Columbia

7:00pm Lafayette @ Penn – Coming off a pretty lopsided loss to Villanova a few days ago, Lafayette will be looking to get a win against the always tough Penn Quakers.  Toronto’s Jared Mintz has been the leading for the team this season and after coming off rough game in Philadelphia expect him to have a big performance here.  Both the Quakers and the Leopards’ offense/defense seem to match up well so this should be an interesting contest.

7:00pm Robert Morris @ Pitt

7:00pm Binghamton @ Army

7:00pm Buffalo @ Canisius

7:00pm Cincinnati Christian @ Eastern Kentucky

7:00pm Long Island @ Fordham – Toronto’s Kyle Johnson has been the leader of this Blackbirds team early.  He currently leads the team in scoring at 15.3 a clip while averaging 5.3 boards and 2 assists.  On top of that he’s shooting the ball well too (16-of-25 from the field including 6-of-10 from the three).  This Fordham team may not be great but they will be playing to win over of the 3-0 Blackbirds.

7:00pm Northern Colorado @ Santa Clara – Vancouver’s Marc Trasolini has picked up right where he left off last season.  His scoring is good but he’s upped his rebounding and assist numbers so far and has even made 5 threes, which is 25% of the amount he made last season.  I feel that Marc’s game is now blossoming with Kevin Foster back from injury so this game is worth watching.

7:30pm Iona @ Albany

7:45pm Gonzaga vs. Marquette

8:00pm Appalachian State @ Tennessee Tech

8:00pm Hampton @ George Washington

8:00pm Champion Baptist College @ Central Arkansas – This is a new Imad Qahwash we are seeing this season.  The Kitchener, ON player has been the Bearcats’ leading scorer through the team’s first three games while chipping in 5 rebounds and an assist per game too playing about 23 minutes a game.  Against a team like Champion Baptist, expect those numbers to be padded tonight.

9:00pm IPFW @ North Dakota

10:30pm Portland @ Washington State
