First we want to start off by saying that we have lost a true basketball great.  Halifax front office staffer, ex-Rainman player and overall great person John Strickland has passed away this week.  Thogh he may not have been an NBA All Star, he was definitely a giant among men in life.  R.I.P. Strick ...

In pro news, we have learned from former Carleton Raven Stu Turnbull that he was named Player of the Week in the German Pro A League this week.  Big shout to him for earning that honor.  Here is a clip of Turnbull in action for the UBC Tigers where he goes off but it's in German ...
