Jan 23
12:00pm (6) Michigan State @ Minnesota
1:00pm Maine @ Hartford
1:00pm Middle Tennessee @ Western Kentucky
2:00pm Richmond @ George Washington
2:00pm (3) Kansas @ Iowa State
2:00pm Virginia Commonwealth @ Northeastern
2:00pm Buffalo @ Ohio
2:00pm Davidson @ Georgia Southern
2:00pm Marquette @ (5) Syracuse – with the conference season in full swing, every game will count in the Big East and this game will be a good one. Marquette is a very tough team and could beat the Orange.
2:00pm Bucknell @ Colgate
2:05pm Wright State @ Detroit
3:00pm Western Carolina @ Appalachian State
4:00pm Delaware State @ Morgan State
4:00pm Chicago State @ NJIT
4:30pm Wagner @ St Francis (NY)
4:30pm Mount St Mary’s @ Long Island – Toronto’s Kyle Johnson was great in a tough overtime loss a couple of days ago. He should be looking to help the Black Birds get back to winning in the Northeast Conference.
5:00pm McNeese State @ Central Arkansas – here we have a great game that features to under publicized Canadians talents. Kapelan has been the leading scorer for McNeese State for two seasons now and Qahwash has been a steady influence at the point for Central Arkansas all year. This should be good.
5:15pm East Tennessee State @ Belmont
6:30pm Northern Illinois @ Central Michigan
7:00pm Cornell @ Columbia
7:00pm St Bonaventure @ Duquesne – Nicholson was big in the Bonnies win against U Mass three days ago with 26 points and 5 blocks. With the Atlantic 10 field wide open, this is a game that Nicholson should help St Bonaventure win to move up the standings.
7:00pm Morehead State @ Eastern Kentucky – with the Colonels vying for a possible NCAA Tournament invite, Papa Oppong has been a key on this team. He’s been in double-digit scoring six of the last seven games now with 15 in the blowout win over Chicago State three days ago.
7:00pm Lafayette @ Lehigh – Lafayette is sitting on top of the Patriot League standings and Jared Mintz is a big reason for that. He’s been on a tear of late which includes his third double-double of the season in his last game.
7:00pm Furman @ Citadel
7:30pm St Francis (PA) @ Fairleigh Dickinson
8:00pm Loyola Marymount @ (15) Gonzaga – this is a must win game for the Zags and a big contribution will be needed by all the Canadians. Sacre in particular should have a good game since there are no real bigs for the Lions that play major minutes.
8:00pm Santa Clara @ San Francisco – the Broncos are on a five game slide and Trasolini could be the guy that helps break that streak. He’s been playing well all year but has had some down games in between. He’ll need to bring out against the Dons for Santa Clara to win.
8:00 Oklahoma @ Texas Tech
8:00pm Texas A&M-CC @ Texas-San Antonio
8:30 Oakland @ South Dakota State
9:30pm Western Illinois @ Southern Utah
10:00pm Pepperdine @ Portland
10:00pm Cal Northridge @ Cal Poly
10:30pm New Mexico State @ San Jose State
10:30pm Washington @ USC
11:00pm UC Riverside @ UC Irvine
12:05am Louisiana Tech @ Hawaii – after having their 10 game winning streak snapped by San Jose State two days prior, this should a good game to catch. Ashaolu was great in defeat with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 2 steals and with the streak over, he should be hungry for the next win like the rest of the team. Apologies go to Hawaii’s Paul Campbell who will have to guard Louisiana Tech’s Magnum Rolle who is better player right now than him and should have monster game.
