It was a very busy Saturday in Canadian hoops.  Canada began play for a medal at the World Championship qualifiers and several Canadian universities played exhibition games against NCAA teams.  Check out the stories in todays combined National Team Ticker and Canadian Content section.

St. John's Red Storm sweeps Canadian hoops doubleheader
St. John's University gave a pair of Montreal schools a lesson in basketball fundamentals Saturday. The NCAA's Red Storm beat McGill University 90-55 and cruised past the University of Quebec at Montreal 104-62 to sweep a pair of exhibition basketball games.
