The Toronto Raptors held their annual fan appreciation day at the Air Canada Center yesterday. Fans were treated to a different take on the usual open practice the Raptors have put on in past years as in this year's event, the players freely mingled with fans. The event appeared to be a huge success and it seemed to be as fun for the players as the fans.
One individual who never seems to have fun is our favourite local correspondent Dave Feschuk. Feschuk offers his brand of optimism in today's Toronto Star article and seems to be offering a positive message for a change...he's SURE the franchise is doomed...
Finally, Chris Bosh and coach Sam Mitchell aren't concerned about the 3rd year player's lack of preseason production. With the task of encorporating new players, new point guards and a new identity to the young team, Bosh was obviously not a priority this offseason in that sense. Hopefully that changes Wednesday night.
