"He doesn’t wear a trench coat, ingest blue pills or lose himself in a massive throng of bodies dancing at an underground rave, but in his own way new Arkansas head basketball coach Mike Anderson is The One..."
The Arkansas Razorbacks recently named former Nolan Richardson assistant coach and player (at Tulsa) Mike Anderson as their new head coach. There was some speculation that they wouldn't hire Anderson due to hard feelings from how Richarson left the program, but what has fans excited now is the possibility of restoring the Razorback Basketball Brand to the program, as described by SBN's Arkansas Expats (linked in title above).
Shameless
Though most rumors have not included Mike Anderson has a heavy favorite for the head coach position at Georgia Tech, his name has surfaced enough times for it to be an influence in the search. If this battle ends up as speculated, Dan Radakovich can scratch one name off the list. How do you think the other coaching vacancies in the Big 6 Conferences affect the Georgia Tech search?
"We'll be something to reckon with this season," Anderson said. "We've had two major recruiting classes in a row and we've got a lot of momentum. It's like the blueprint we had at Arkansas."
Can someone explain this: The coach who got Missouri, somewhat sneakily, to the Elite Eight in 2009 will stay in Columbia.
lol. [Promoted to Front Page since Anderson reportedly told them no, so LOL away.]
Excellent interview between college baseball's chief stitch head Eric Sorenson and Nebraska head coach Mike Anderson. Anderson talks about the state of Nebraska baseball, and this year's team. Be sure to watch it ALL the way through.
