The perfect companion: Chris Bosh
Bosh hits every checkmark on the list above. He's an outstanding midrange shooter who would provide a fearsome weapon on the pick-and-pop, something James has never really had in Cleveland. His Offensive rebound Rate (9.9 percent) was in the top third of power forwards, which is amazing considering how often he played outside. His Turnover Rate was in the bottom third and his TS% (59.2) was outstanding.
That excerpt was from John Hollinger's post this afternoon on "best fits to play with LeBron James." (ESPN Insider)
In the article, Hollinger uses several metrics to examine which players, either free agents or currently on one of the teams he's rumoured to be considering, would make great complementary teammates for James.
Bosh topped all of Hollinger's criteria edging out the likes of Amar'e Stoudemire, Dirk Nowitzki, Carlos Boozer and David Lee.
Not a great teammate for LeBron or anyone else?
Over the past week we've gotten numerous reports from both media, and fans in Orlando, that Hedo's been partying it up down there. In fact he's apparently been "living" at a certain Orlando nightclub named 23.
Maybe Hedo thinks he can channel Jordan by hanging out there as much as possible?
Chris Bosh speaking on the type of player he wants to be. This has some relevance to the Bulls considering our 2010 hopes and that he states that he likes where he is and wants to be the guy a team is built around.
