I know that some fans are still angry and furious about Vince Carter's actions and maybe Chris Bosh's too.
But I just want to know, hypothetically, if ever, both of them would want to play with the Raptors (suppose they're both UFA and willing to take a lower salary). Do you guys think the Raptors' chance of being a contender increases?
From my perspective, a bit. In fantasy, this would benefit the team in a lot of sense. Even though Vince Carter is not as athletic as he was before, he still manage to be very effective off the bench for his age during his tenure in the Mavericks. With Chris Bosh's case, if he were to effectively play for the Raptors before he reaches 32, I don't think there is much of a problem expect for the front-court rotation. With both of them in the team, they can serve as a veteran and guide to the young players. But I suppose at their age right now, they will be put in the 2nd unit, which will strengthen the depth of the team in a lot of sense.
I am not familiar with the whole roster seeing that I only know 5 of them and they're all starters (sorry)
But if this would happen, I think it'll be like this?:
SF: DeMar DeRozan, Vince Carter
PF: Amir Johnson
C: Jonas Valanciunas, Chris Bosh
SG: Terrence Ross
PG: Kyle Lowry
and from what I've seen, I think this would be enough for conference title contention...
What do you guys think???????
comment your opinion guys...
