How about a solid start to the match-up this evening no? How about the Toronto Raptors get out and set the tone early, playing to their strengths instead of the other way around?
As we've discussed recently on the site, the Dinos haven't exactly been playing Grade A basketball of late, especially early in games, and tonight against a very tough LA Clippers squad, even without Chris Paul, they simply can't afford to coast early.
As well, it would be great to see Jonas Valanciunas and Amir Johnson start strong, especially considering they'll be faced up against Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan. This is one of those matches where if Toronto doesn't get off to a good start, no fourth quarter wizardry will likely be able to save them from a loss, so Jonas, Amir, and the entire starting group needs to bring their A game.
