A banged-up New York Knicks squad takes on the Raptors tonight in Toronto, hoping to get a much-needed win.
Sportsnet One - 7:00 PM EST
Tonight the Toronto Raptors host the New York Knicks in what is a tale of two struggling clubs.
The Dinos have lost two straight, and now have only three wins in their last 10 games.
The Knicks, while winners of their last two, were recently in a similar situation, losing three of their last 10.
However the two recent W's gives the 'Bockers a bit more optimism despite the club being hit by a myriad of injuries of late.
Kurt Thomas, Tyson Chandler, Amar'e Stoudemire and Rasheed Wallace are all out, while Carmelo Anthony and Iman Shumpert are both still listed as "Day-to-Day," even though both played in New York's recent win over Orlando.
The Raps would have been happy to see Melo sit this one out, as he's been a pain in Toronto's side all season, despite the Dinos taking the last three matches in this series dating back to last season. The Raps, despite a period of relative health, have struggled as noted, the latest set-back coming in Wednesday night's loss to the Charlotte Bobcats.
The Knicks, looking to fend off the Brooklyn Nets who sit only a game behind them in the standings, should be up for this one, so Toronto will need a much better overall effort than they displayed Wednesday night.
