The Raptors are struggling. The Pacers aren't. This is going to be tough.
On Tuesday, night following the Raptors abysmal performance in Washington, I hoped the game was simply an off-day for the hometown Raps. A poor performance in the midst of a playoff run. A 'chink in the armor', as ESPN would put it.
A day later, however, the Raptors managed to top themselves again, playing one of their worst games of the season in a loss to the Cavs. The Raptors have taken a step back in the standings, currently sitting six back of the Bucks, and that mighty 8th spot.
At this point in the season, considering the Raptors place in the standings, every game is must-win. While losing back-to-back games against poor quality teams is tough, the Raptors have to move forward, and get back into the win column tonight against the Pacers.
The last time these teams faced off, late game heroics was key for the Raps, as Amir tied the game up late in the fourth, and Rudy took over in overtime.
The Pacers will be making the trip to Toronto this time around, as the two teams face off tonight in the ACC.
