Raps Sign Magloire

Yup. That answers all the questions about C. No need to worry that Gray can't score or anything like that.

Actually, from the sounds of it, he's being looked to as a big man coach, something that's been suggested, here. (Wonder if anybody at MLSE gets paid to read fan blogs...).

To that extent, I'm all for this. It implies, to me, that if the roster spot is needed, they can just call him a coach. He wouldn't be able to play, in that case, but if the depth chart got as low as Jamaal, there'd be other problems to worry about.

Also, in the same article (the first one) it looks as if Chris Wright is being invited to camp to compete for the last roster spot. I like this. If he can bring anything of what he showed in summer league, the added depth could (please oh please oh please) facilitate some trades (for, oh, 2014 picks to get Wiggins?). (I really HOPE somebody at MLSE gets paid to read blogs...).

There are some additional, but unnamed people being invited to camp. I wonder if Bobby Brown will be amongst them, given that he did show distribution skills in summer league. A decent back-up PG from somewhere means that BC could actually pull the trigger and move Calderon (for, oh, 2014 picks to get Wiggins?).

Anyway, thought I'd pass this along.
