Yahoo Sports is running a "Memorable Olympic Moments" series currently on SB Nation and we thought it only made sense for our pick to include the man of the hour in Raptorland, Steve Nash.
Yes, our choice is Nash's epic performance at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia, specifically 26 point, eight rebound, eight assists performance in an upset of Peja Stojakovic and Yugoslavia, 83 to 75. Unfortunately Team Canada could not get past France in in the Quarter Finals and finished seventh in the tourney. However the event really marked Nash's ascension as one of the premiere basketball players in the world as he willed his crew to a surprising 4 and 1 record in their group (Group B), and the following NBA season made his first All-Star Game appearance.
