Valanciunas: Whats the price?

Blazer fan stopping by. Doing some rogue ambassador work for Blazers Edge. I did a similar post over at BrightSideOfTheSun on Marcin Gortat. I would like to gather some opinions from you, the Raptors fan base on what you value your 2011 #5th overall draft pick & current EuroLeague star Jonas Valanciunas at. I am a fan for the obvious reasons, just like you are.

The Blazers have some valuable assets, I'd like to see if they have enough to land your Lithuanian center prospect. Cutting to the chase, lets start with draft picks, this year we have the #6, #11, #41 & #42 overall in the draft. #6 puts you in range for talented prospects like Andre Drummond, Damian Lillard, Harrison Barnes, etc. #11 could land you Perry Jones III, Austin Rivers, John Henson or Kendall Marshall.

In terms of players available, I'd say just about anyone besides LaMarcus Aldridge- though many Portland fans have considered a full rebuild & tank effort where Aldridge is moved for several draft picks & prospects. That is headlined by Nicolas Batum & Wesley Matthews. Both of whom are arguably much better then any perimeter defenders on Toronto's roster.

Batum is a free agent & can not be traded until the free agent period begins. Which would result in a sign & trade. The young French Man has experience playing with Jerryd Bayless(not sure if you plan to resign him) & could really benefit from playing with a player who has great court vision like Jose Calderon. Matthews is a very solid backup 2 guard on a contender, brings good defense & stretches the floor with his 3pt shooting, Dwayne Casey would love him. JJ Hickson is a legit backup 4 who would also be a sign & trade candidate, who revived his season after leaving the SAC(ramento Kings). Players like Jamal Crawford or Kurt Thomas have no business being on either teams roster. Beyond that the Blazers have three prospects in Elliot Williams, Luke Babbitt & Nolan Smith.

So let me know, Raptors fans, what would it take to get Valanciunas? I would propose an offer of 6, 11, Wesley Matthews, Nolan Smith, Elliot Williams & Luke Babbitt. In return Portland takes back two horrible contracts in Linas Kleiza & Amir Johnson, in addition to the rights to Valanciunas, perhaps throw in the 37th overall 2nd rounder?

Give me a counter offer & what would you demand if you were the Raptors GM? Is he untradeable? Thanks for your time!
