We're back for another week of the NBA Power Tankings.
In our last look in at Toronto's race for Anthony Davis, the Raptors fell on hard times dropping out of the top five in our rankings.
With a win over Washington and Denver this past week, things haven't gotten any better and in fact, the combination of those wins and some losses by key competitors now finds Toronto sitting in seventh place, with both the Cavs and Kings leap-frogging the Dinos.
Yes, the Raptors technically still have the league's fifth-worst winning percentage, along with Cleveland, but based on factors like upcoming schedule and games remaining, the Raps shot at finishing in the bottom five don't look so hot right now.
That makes this week's tilts against clubs like the aforementioned Cavaliers and Charlotte Bobcats crucial in terms of staying in the race as simply put, the Raps need to do a better job of tanking if they want to get into one of those top lottery spots.
