Today we have three big NCAA games but the biggest will be Baylor taking on Xavier and whether Downtown Brady Heslip can keep his hot shooting going ...
Here is where the men are playing today ...
NCAA
7:15pm Xavier vs. Baylor - Baylor's Brady Heslip has now become a sort of cult figure of sorts after dropping 9 threes in the win over Colorado that got the Bears into the Sweet Sixteen last Sunday. But what people seem to miss is that he's been playing shooting the lights out in both the Tournament so far averaging 22 points on 14-of-22 shooting from behind the arc. He's only taken three shots inside three range and two of those were free throws (which he made by the way). Xavier will likely look to defend him tighter on the perimeter so it may be a little harder for him to get many open looks from deep but if the Baylor inside or slashing game is working, expect the rain to fall again tonight.
9:45pm Indiana vs. Kentucky
10:17pm North Carolina State vs. Kansas
And here is where the women are playing today ...
WBI
8:00pm Manhattan @ Minnesota - Minnesota has a chance to get into the Women's Basketball Invitational finals with a win tonight and there is a chance that Canadian Micaella Riche could be an X-factor in the win. In the last game the Gophers played this past Sunday, she went for a career high 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting. It's possible she can replicate that performance in this contest and help get her team to the WBI Championship.
