Around SBN: Indy 500: 'Greatest Spectacle In Racing' Set For Sunday

The NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Feb. 14

Happy Valentine's Day people! For your likely romantic evening with the game of basketball (if you're like me of course or your other is working late [also like me]) then we have a few games for you tonight. We have our favorite Myck and his Longhorns, the Canadian quartet at New Mexico State and of course a pair of Big East ladies that will be duking it out for wins and more all right here ...

Star-divide

Here is where the men are playing today ...

7:00pm Towson @ Northeastern

7:00pm Tennessee-Martin @ Kennesaw State - Tennessee-Martin's Dane Smith has been playing very well in increased minutes and role all year. In his last four games he's scored in double figures averaging 15.3 points along with 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 1.3 steals. That stretch also saw him post his second double-double of the season along with a career high 24 points against the crème of the Ohio Valley Conference, Murray State. This could be a game that the Skyhawks can win considering that Kennesaw State has identical records in their conference (0-14) and overall (3-24, ok near identical here since the Skyhawks are 3-24) and Smith could have another great game.

7:00pm William & Mary @ Drexel

7:00pm Texas A&M @ Texas Tech

8:00pm Texas @ Oklahoma - Myck Kabongo has had it a little rough in 2012 and will not have it any easier playing against Oklahoma. In his last five games, two of which were against top ten AP teams, he's shown that he can be solid at the point when he's on the floor. He'll have his hands full against the guards of Oklahoma and this should be a good late season test for him.

8:00pm Cleveland State @ Milwaukee

8:05pm Creighton @ Southern Illinois

9:00pm Northern New Mexico @ New Mexico State - The last time that New Mexico State played, they beat a tough Utah State team and Hernst Laroche had a monster game. He ended the contest with 16 points, 7 assists, 3 rebounds, 3 steals and a huge block that should have been on anyone plays of the week. Who's gonna step up tonight, even though it's a loaded question since the Aggies are playing an NAIA team. I'm sure that Daniel Mullings and Tyrone Watson will want to match their Canadian teammate's outing this weekend.

9:00pm Ohio State @ Minnesota

And here is where the ladies are playing today ...

7:00pm Providence @ Notre Dame - Natalie Achonwa fouled out of the Notre Dame upset loss Sunday against West Virginia in only 11 minutes and you can bet that she wants to get into this game early. The loss halted an 11 game conference winning streak and the second ranked Irish will be looking to get back to winning. Providence looks like a win but stranger things have happened. Expect Achonwa to play lots tonight.

7:00pm Ohio @ Akron

7:00pm South Florida @ Marquette - Marquette's Katherine Plouffe is making a very strong case for herself to named to the Big East Conference First Team. Like she's been doing all season long, she seems to be doing everything for the Golden Eagles when she's on the floor. In her last three games, Plouffe has averaged 18 points, 11.7 rebounds and 3 assists in a workhorse 35.3 minutes per game. This game against South Florida could be a win for Marquette, as long as Plouffe players her game that is.

9:30pm Boise State @ Colorado State
