Colangelo is clearly the issue. Witness the signing of Pietrus, Colangelo retread. Was listening to Nate Silver the other day. He pointed out that GM's of any sport need to stay out of the lockeroom and coaching decision making. They should objectively evaluate their players with emotional detachment. Clearly Colangelo fails on all accounts and has sold us all false goods for years now.
I loved the lineup in Denver at the end. Bargs(yuck), with four athletes around him in DD, Ross, Lowry, and Davis. Or maybe Johnson was in at some point. It was entertaining for sure. In the end I have my doubts that Davis or Ross will be developed. Davis certainly hasn't been and Colangelo to save his own hide will continue to dictate playing time looking for wins to show dear Mr, Tannebaum and MLSE.
What is fix?
Should Casey be more assertive?
Does the media need to start smearing Colangelo? Deservedly.
Playerwise, what should be done?
