After three straight losses south of the border, this might be exactly what the Raptors need. They return home to the ACC, and look to pull off the upset against the Spurs.
The Spurs have been the polar opposite of the Raptors this season.
They find themselves at a 10-3 record, currently sitting just behind the Grizzlies atop the Western Conference. On the other hand, and as our Chris Walder noted this morning, the Raptors are a lowly 3-10, sitting one spot above the winless Wizards in the bottom of the Eastern Conference.
The Spurs have managed to win games down the stretch, coming up with tight wins over New Orleans, OKC, Portland, LA and most recently Indiana. These Spurs aren't very Raptor-like, are they.
However they will be missing two key players in Stephen Jackson and Kawhi Leonard so perhaps the Raps can finally catch a break.
No, the odds are certainly against the Raptors in this one, but as Chris mentioned in the game preview: 'Nothing is impossible in the NBA'.
GO RAPS!
