Here we go folks, the opening game of the NBA season, and our first liveblog.

It won't be our last liveblog, but we've decided to make some changes with them this season. In the past few seasons, we've found that readers spend more time discussing the game live on Twitter, or mainly jump on for key games, so we're going to follow suit.

Therefore we'll likely be posting game-day threads for key match-ups and various big games for the Dinos this season, while discussing the bulk of the other contests in some other format; either via Twitter or even via the opponent's liveblog.

We'll give that a shot and see how it goes in any event, and if there's enough interest, well hey, we'll switch back to posting a thread for every game of the season.

Tonight though is a big one.

It's the home-opener against a very solid Pacers squad, even without Mr. Granger, and a win would be an excellent way to kick off Dwane Casey's playoff push.
