Nelson Chenault-US PRESSWIRE
With the NBA season right around the corner the HQ asks fans their take on the Raptors' win-loss record.
With a 120 to 106 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night, the Toronto Raptors closed out their 2012 pre-season with only a single loss in seven matches.
Even if you discount the victory over Real Madrid, it's still an impressive number at face value and likely has fans pretty excited about the upcoming season.
I'm not here to rain on the parade just yet, after all, the Raptors were .500 in their 2010-11 pre-season (last year's lock-out shortened one isn't being counted here) and we all know how that campaign turned out.
So perhaps a 6 and 1 pre-season record does give a glimmer of hope to begin the 2012-13 campaign, if not because of the actual victories, but because of the play of some of the new additions; John Lucas as a Vinnie Johnson type off the bench, Kyle Lowry bulldozing his way to the rim, DeMar DeRozan looking to post up opponents, Jonas Valanciunas, period...etc, etc.
But we want to hear from you guys.
How many games do you think the Toronto Raptors will win this season?
