Around SBN: The Most Dangerous Division in Sports

The NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Jan. 30

Tonight we have a nice dose of Canadian ballers that feature our favorite Myck and a couple of Catamounts on the mens side as well as a rising low post ball from the mid-major ranks for the ladies right here ...

Star-divide

Here is where the men are playing today ...

7:00pm Western Carolina @ Wofford - After going 1-of-6 from the floor in 22 minutes against Elon this past Thursday Western Carolina's Harouna Mutombo looked better in the UNC Greensboro win this past Saturday. He went for 14 points in the Catamounts' 89-86 win. Keaton Cole also had a great game against Greensboro going for 18 points including making 5 of his 15 threes (15 attempts!) in the overtime win. With these two getting back to their scoring ways, this could be a game to check and see if it continues.

7:30pm Maryland-Eastern Shore @ North Carolina Central

8:00pm Coppin State @ Norfolk State

8:00pm SIU-Edwardsville @ Tennessee Tech

8:30pm Northern Colorado @Northern Arizona

9:00pm Missouri @ Texas - Myck Kabongo seems to be settling in at just the right time of the season - for the home stretch of the conference year. He has scored in double digits in his last two games against a pair of good teams in Iowa State and Baylor going for 12 and 13 points respectively. Missouri is the third of the likely five teams from the Big 12 and tonight Kabongo will have the task of defending Phil Pressey, the Tigers' own jet quick point man. This should be a good matchup since both teams are playing largely without a deep frontcourt outside of the starters so it should be a very run-and-gun type contest. And Kabongo is very, very good in the open court.

Here is where the women are playing today ...

5:30pm Howard @ South Carolina State

7:00pm Monmouth @ Central Connecticut State

7:00pm Mount St. Mary's @ Quinnipiac

7:00pm Wagner @ Sacred Heart

7:00pm Fairleigh Dickinson @ Bryant - Bryant's Naana Ankoma-Mensa is a walking double-double (did I already say that before). She is the team's leader in both points (12.8) and rebounds (9.7) and was good for 15.5 and 9 in her last two games.

7:30pm Michigan @ Wisconsin

9:00pm UMKC @ Southern Utah
