The NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Jan. 10

Today we have a few games on the docket but they are some good ones that include Downtown Brady Heslip and Baylor, Jahenns Manigat and Creighton and a pair of Big East games that feature a pair of rising lady ballers in Natalie Achonwa and Katherine Plouffe ...

Star-divide

Remember that you can find the full list of players playing in Division 1 right here.

7:00pm Harvard @ Monmouth

8:05pm Bradley @ Drake

8:00pm Baylor @ Kansas State - Baylor's Brady Heslip has been lights out shooting all season but he has gone cold from time to time. Like last Monday against Texas A&M, he was 0-for-4 from the field for 0 points. But he did get back on track last Saturday against Texas Tech going 5-of-7 from the field making 4 threes en route to 16 points. Which Brady will show up tonight?

9:00pm Ohio State @ Illinois

9:00pm Northern Iowa @ Creighton - Creighton's Jahenns Manigat has been steady all season playing the Robert Horry role on this Top 25 Blue Jays team. He's been shooting the three at a pretty good clip all year (.509 to be exact) and he's been a defensive presence on the team also. In the team's win over Bradley this past Saturday, he had a very efficient 13 points on 4-of-5 shooting, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and a steal in 27 minutes. He may not be getting the big numbers that his teammate and likely All American Doug McDermott are but he's definitely worth a look tonight.

And here is where the women are playing today ...

7:00pm Notre Dame @ Georgetown - Natalie Achonwa earned the first start of her Notre Dame career Saturday and it happened to be against Connecticut. She had a solid game posting 4 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and a blk in 20 minutes of action in the 74-67 overtime win. I'm wondering if she'll get a start again tonight.

9:00pm Villanova @ Marquette - After being held to 2 points in the game against Louisville to start 2012, Katherine Plouffe dropped 20 points on Seton Hall this past Saturday to go along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists en route to the win. The last time she scored 20 she went on a four game tear.
