Raptors HQ Sunday Poll - Which of the Raptors' Own Free Agents Should the Team Re-Sign?
The past few weeks we've spent looking at Toronto's own free agents, from Joey Dorsey to Julian Wright.
We've even looked at one who won't be back next season for sure, Sonny Weems, and talked to his agent about the decision.
Today's poll question then?
Which of the players who we've discussed would you most like to see back with the Raptors next season, if any?

Derozan's apology for Drew League incident
I want to apologize for my actions at the Drew League today. I got caught up in the heat of the moment, but should’ve handled it better.
Apparently he mistook an official for a player and shoved the official.
However to quote Pat Riley
Pat Riley, in his days as Laker color commentator, working alongside Chick Hearn. He thought the Lakers should be more aggressive under the basket, saying “I’ve seen more pushing in the Men’s Room!”
Hyped Motiejunas Gets Cut From Lithuania's 2011 EuroBasket Squad
The third player who will leave the team is Donatas Motiejunas. The 20th pick of this year’s NBA Draft couldn’t make the cut for the second year in a row.
I don’t think Lithuania will even get to the Final Four in September and a 20th pick in the NBA draft can’t even make the Lithuania team.
I am not sure why NBA writers and bloggers were hyping this guy last June. As I recall he was even discussed on some Raptors forums as a possible pick for the Raptors. SMH
Just posted a blurb on our boy Valanciunas’ performance in said match…

Juju
I went with Juju as the Raps really only have one small forward on the roster right now (no, Kleiza doesn’t count until he shows he can actually run again nevermind play basketball). So I say sign Juju as a stopgap (at the minimum) until the Raptors draft their SF of the future in next season’s SF laden draft class.
I voted Dorsey simply because he’s the most cost-effective option, but I’d be a-ok with JuJu if his price tag wasn’t so high.

Dorsey and Juju
Either of both of these two players may make sense at a low price.
Evans
I love Reggie but he doesn’t fit into our plans people. We can’t afford to pay Reggie what he is likely to get, so he has to go unless he stays for less.
Love Evans too, but if the Raps keep him, I think he takes minutes from guys like Ed and Amir, as it sounds like for now, Bargs is still squarely the club’s top option.

So now, after five years in the league Andrea needs to become what he is not; a solid defensive player and better passer. Those are the two things that will need to change for him to be close to what Casey is looking for in Andrea.
The ball must move on offence, so he can no longer be a black hole on that end of the floor. The entire team must play defence together as a unit, so Andrea can no longer be the invisible man on that end of the floor. I doubt he can make those changes, but if we have to keep him, that’s what I hope he can do.
His 3 pt shooting and jump shot still need to improve as well, because he does not shoot efficiently enough, although he is not far off. A few more inside looks would lead to a higher shooting percentage and getting to the line a little more wouldn’t hurt either. But learning to play D and learning to pass are at the top of the list for Andrea.
Stop playing like a wussy would also help. How can J. Kidd, at almost 40 and a PG, have the same defensive rebounding rate as Andrea, a 25 year old 7 footer? Kidd plays with Chandler, Dirk and Marion, who all get lots of rebounds. Andrea plays with lesser rebounders and yet still can only match J. Kidd’s rebounding rate defensively. That is truly sad. Good luck Mr. Casey. If you pull this one off we should call you “The Magic Man”
J. Kidd 33 mins per and 4.0 defensive rebounding average
Andrea 35 mins per and 4.1 defensive rebounding avg.
