Is Joey Votto Canada's Best Professional Athlete?
At this point in his career is he better than Nash?
I am not familiar with all of Canada’s professional athletes but I would think Votto has to rank near the top.
Tough call ...
I would say as of right now then yes only because Nash seems to be on the tail end of his playing career while Votto is looking like he’s beginning to hit his peak. But if you’re looking at overall careers, I think Joey would lag behind Steve. Afterall, Nash is a perennial all star at the hardest position in the most athletic league on the planet and he was a two time MVP.

Who the heck is Joey votto?
That should answer you question right there…
I have never heard that name in my life. Granted I have
Iived in the states for the last 10 years but it should be some indication.
I would assume there are 50 to 200 pro hockey players that would be considered better athletes no?
