Happy Canada Day From RaptorsHQ

1

Well, today marks an important one in history. Sure, it's Canada Day here up north, but it's also the first day of an NBA owners imposed lock-out, one that could drag on for quite some time according to various people close to the situation. That means no free-agency, no player movement (which made yesterday's JJ Hickson for Omar Casspi trade such a surprise) and lots of speculation and angry love letters from Billy Hunter to David Stern. We'll resume our free agent takes tomorrow, looking at the small forward class, but right now, it looks like the worst fears of many NBA fans have unfortunately been realized.
