Nice to hear that Denham Brown will be playing a close to home this year. Hopefully this league is really going to help develop basketball in Canada. I haven’t read everything out there… any idea how/if the games will be televised/broadcast? Reasonable ticket prices and the locations of the teams should make the NBL more accessible to the public compared to watching the Raptors live (not to mention the lockout).
The games will likely be televised locally but for sure they should be streamed online, particularly the games out east (that how I watched Rainmen games the last two years). The tickets are going to be reasonable for sure and the locations should be what you would expect to see for a minor league I would think. The really good thing is that the players and the games should be very accessible to the public so team and fan interaction will likely by very high both on and after game days. Check them out for sure.
