In the latest edition of Statophile, Tom Liston of Raptors Republic takes a look at the offensively inefficient Linas Kleiza. He also gives some love to HQ favourite Julian Wright.
If there's a better clip to demonstrate Andrea Bargnani's lack of defensive intensity, I'd love to see it. Running back at half speed? Check. Expecting your teammate to cover your defensive lapse? Check. Allowing a scrub frontcourt player from the opposing team to make a highlight reel play? Check.
For those of you who think the Wins Produced metric doesn't fairly reflect Bargnani's on-court contributions, check out where Il Mago ranks according to The City blog's ezPM rating.

I finally figured out why he (Bargnani) is called Il Mago (the magician). Because his value as a star player is a complete illusion and its pure black magic that people think that he is actually of star quality.
Or...
He’s Il Mago because he has tricked a small yet dedicated (and delusional) base of supporters into defending him despite the fact that all the statistical evidence, all the expert analysis and all the observational/anecdotal evidence (just watch him play) is contrary to their position.
I forget who coined it
