Been thinking about the Team Canada loss...
Someone on Twitter made a comment that watching this Team Canada squad was like watching the early Sam Mitchell era Raptors. The team plays their butts off, but just hasn’t got the talent to get it done when it counts.

I'm going to say that ...
yes this team is like the Mitchell era Raps and yes they are playing their tails off. I think they are a talented team but the lack of a go to guy down the stretch is the difference. I think the guys can play but that glue guy that can get the team over the hump with a timely bucket or play is not there. I was hoping that Rautins would be that guy but we can never know since he’s playing day to day at best. Honestly, without Rautins the Senior Team is looking like they’re lucky to be at the Worlds instead of the team that crushed France and China in Canada. Outside of him, there is no one that can step up and be that playmaker that is needed to win the big game, even if there is a 17 point lead.
