Who is the best up and coming Canadian point?
Ray who do you like better, Joseph, Kabongo or Pangos and why? Also any chance of one of the three being a one and done?
Of the three, I would say that I like Myck the most but only because I’ve had many chances to meet him and he is been pretty cool just about every time. He’s been approachable, friendly and very engaging. That’s not to say that I don’t like the others though.
They’re all great players and the best one for the one and done situation will likely by Cory since he’s got better size and shot than Myck but better quickness than Pangos. Myck is the most quick and I think better defensively of the three, but he’s barely pushing 6". Pangos is in the same boa size wise but is nowhere near as quick as Cory but I think he’s the smartest player on the floor between them. IF we could combine all three players we’d have the greatest point guard to ever walk this planet!

It seems like all three guys have something to offer Team Canada down the road. It could be a case of mixing and matching according to the situation. If you need a stop go with one guy, if you need to create a shot go with another, if you need to manage the clock, etc…
Personally, I like seeing guys put in 2+ years in college because they generally come out with a much higher basketball IQ. Obviously, every situation is different, but I hope these guys make the most of their time at Uni. Look at a guy like DeRozan. Great guy, great potential, but it would be nice if he didn’t need so much on the job training.
