It is being reported that Jose Calderon has once again hurt his hamstring and won't be playing in the world championships. Odds of Calderon being dealt now? Tiny. Odds of his defense improving as a result? Less than tiny. Hamstring injuries are brutal one's that never quite seem to heal. It's really too bad this isn't a Charlotte Bobcats issue. It also brings up the often debated and never resolved issue of whether guys should be playing in this tournament even though they have multi-million dollar guaranteed contracts.
