Will Bosh be joining LeBron in Cleveland...against his wishes?
ESPN.com's Chris Broussard is reporting that a potential sign-and-trade deal is on the table between the Toronto Raptors and Cleveland Cavaliers. While the terms have not been finalized, the speculation is that Bosh would head to the Cavs in exchange for Anderson Varejao or JJ Hickson, as well as well as some package of Delonte West or Anthony Parker, and perhaps a draft pick. Just one problem...apparently Bosh doesn't want to play in Cleveland. According to sources CB4 would prefer to pair up with James in Miami, Chicago or New Jersey, not Cleveland, and so for now things seem to be at a standstill. From my perspective, if Toronto could get either Hickson or Varejao in addition to West or Parker and a pick, I'd be pretty happy. Both Hickson and Varejao would be nice complements to Andrea Bargnani up front, Delonte West could provide scrappy play at the 1 or 2 off the bench, and of course, Anthony Parker's leadership would be a welcome re-addition despite his declining skills. Toss in a draft pick and the Raps could certainly do a lot worse.
