kind of odd that parrish would leave canada basketball considering the growth the program is experiencing right now and how the future looks

the situation at Postmedia was likely too good to pass up. Remember that Parrish started out as a writer way back and this move makes sense. He’s in a position to make a huge change to a large media outlet so it’s a perfect fit for him. He’ll stil stay on as a board member though. I’m really curious as to who will replace him.

yeah should be interesting hopefully they replace him with someone who is passionate about promoting canadian basketball and making canada prominent on the world basketball scene and bring basketball into the Conscience of canadians, also great to see canada basketball finally started up a twitter feed, hope to see them follow all the guys involved in the program and other guys like ro russell, etc…
