so sick of these free agent rumors
when you take an objective view of things, how much have these "superstars" really accomplished? lets look at the top FAs this summer - wade is the only one with a ring and that was 7 years ago! lebron couldnt win the title even when they stacked up cleveland with shaq, mo williams, jamison, parker, etc. We've all been witness to bosh for the last 7 years, a good player to be sure, but can't will his team to the playoffs even in the weaker eastern conference... dirk, amar'e, joe johnson, david lee- all good pieces but no titles.
so who cares if these media whores want to financially cripple a franchise with their riduculous $20 million/year contracts, let them!! they're still not going to win with 2 (or even 3)max contract FAs and a bunch of league minimum guys...no combo you throw together (bosh/wade/johnson or lebron/boozer/johnson or whatever) is going to beat the lakers (or orlando or boston for that matter, or OKC in a couple years) - those are real TEAMS and they will always come out on top against these patchwork "mercenary-for -hire" combos i hear the media drooling over ad nauseum...
real teams sacrifice for the greater good, and none of these guys really embody that notion...they all want to be the number 1 option, and ironically that is what will keep them from succeeding.

I would only argue for Wade to be omitted from this. Miami reeks and he gets them into the playoffs, and he’s just dirty good. Agree with the fact that these new super teams probably won’t beat LA or Orlando or even Boston (Until they all get too old).
without Lebron
Cleveland is not much better… as will be witnessed this season.
