BULLS FAN WITH A BOSH TRADE PROPOSAL.
Hello Rap fans, This is Illwill from BaB.
We over here on BaB want Bosh really bad and think we can give you guys the best package. First off Rose and Noah are untouchable and management would probably take the chance on missing CB4 if those players are included lol. The Bulls trade Deng, Gibson, Asik and next years 1st for Bosh.
Deng is only 24 y.o and averages 17 ppg and 7 rpg. He is a solid defender with about $51 mill left on a 4 year deal. I think that Deng is a better player than Hedo, but is big enough (6-9) and a good enough rebounder to play with Hedo.
Gibson is a 24 y.o rookie PF. He just made All-Rookie first team as the only big man selected. He is 6-9 and is a good post defender, shotblocker and rebounder. He has a developing back to the basket game, but is a bit on the light side.
Omer Asik is a 24 y.o Turkish Center, who currently plays in the Euroleage. He is a shotblocker and a project bigman.
With this trade the Raps get (3) good young players and a draft pick. I think that is one of the best deals that can be made for Bosh, unless he choses the Lakers lol (Gasol or Bynum). I think the obvious reason Bosh would want to come to Chicago is Rose and Noah. Plus by doing a sign and trade we could still sign Joe Johnson. Let me know what you guys think about this trade.

From a Rockets fan
How would you compare the above trade with this trade?
Battier, Jefferies, Hill, Taylor, NY first round pick for Bosh.
Battier and Jefferies are on their last year of their contracts so they could be valuable in another trade (around 6 mil each). The low salaries will give you guys much more flexibility than having Deng who you would be on the hook for along with Turkoglu and Calderon thereby limiting future potential upgrades for Toronto. They are both quality defensive specialists. From what I understand, one of the main problems for Toronto is the defense. Battier (lock down defender) and Jefferies (led the NBA in charges and played well with the Rockets, who plays well the the NY) change that aspect of the game for the Raptors.
Jordan Hill (6-10) is the main Rookie piece. He is very athletic, moves the floor well, grabs rebounds, and hits the mid range jumper. He was the 8th overall pick in last years draft and he really never got a chance in NY because he was a rookie and D’Antoni doesn’t really play rookies that much. He has played very well in Houston. Check out his videos below.
Jermaine Taylor (6-4) is a guard from Central Florida who was the Conference USA Player of the Year and 3rd leading scorer in the nation. He didn’t get much playing time in the beginning of the year because he was was working on his defense but moved into the rotation after he showed great improvement as shown by the Lakers Video below.

Other than the players, you will get one of our NY picks for 2011 or 2012. For 2011, you would get the right to switch places with NY. We own the 2012 pick, so you might take that instead. If we get Bosh, then NY would have a harder time attracting free agents and that could result in a higher pick for you. Bosh would also be in the Western Conference so you would only play him twice instead of four times.
So, how would you compare both trades? Thank you.

Both the Rookies really have a lot of upside, especially HIll.

i like the rockets trade better
i love loul deng and taj gibson but the contracts are too big and too long. omar asik, i dont even think hell be much of an impact. also the first round pick will be way below the draft as chicago will instantly become a playoff contender.
now the rockets, that i can say is a decent trade. we’ll be getting back jordan hill who can someday fill in boshs’ place (and his hair). shane battier will instantly make our perimeter defense better as well as jeffries although i do expect jefferies to be traded. Taylor will just be filler but what interests me the most is taking NY pick. if bosh goes to chicago and lebron and wade stay where they are and not NY (which is very likely) then NY will continue to struggle, meaning we retain a higher draft pick.
so i say id rather BC accept the Rockets trade proposal. (if it were real of course)

Unless you are the GM of the Chicago Bulls or Houston Rockets or Toronto Raptors, any trade proposal is pointless.
You are right, but people who know their teams well enough have an idea of what their teams might offer. Its just a good way of engaging other fans and getting different perspectives, not too serious.

Gasol
In truth I think the premise is busted, I suspect the Bulls would need to (and should) consider dealing Noah in a sign-trade for Bosh. If not, I can’t see how an LA offer involving either Gasol or Bynum wouldn’t be more attractive. Don’t get me wrong, I think Noah is a very good player, but Bosh is superior by just about every metric.
The other problem is that the centerpieces of your offer, Deng and the future 1st, are both less their face value.
Deng clearly has injury red flags, and flipping the face of the franchise for a guy who might be made of glass would be a killer. I love him as a player and think under other circumstances (i.e. Hedo magically becomes a Clipper), he would make the Raps a better team, but as it is Deng just isn’t a good fit.
Nor would it be easy to suggest that Hedo could be moved on with ease. He is being overpaid in both dollars and term, and the team is now invested in him as being their SF moving forward.
As for the pick, it just isn’t as sexy as you might think when it isn’t in the lottery.
I don’t see Gibson as being am eventual starter caliber guy, but I admit I could be wrong.
Omar Asik isn’t any kind of sweetner that would get the deal closed.
It’s a case of the quality of an LA offer involving either Gasol(!), or Bynum would be instantly far more appealing over a ‘quantity offer’ that gives us a late 1st, Deng, and some average player or less filler.
If Noah is in the mix I think the Bulls are in the poker hand, otherwise, I think they get priced out.
I don't see why the lakers would trade Bynum for Bosh? That would leave them awfully thin in the front court, with
Bosh & Gasol being long & lanky, Bynum right now is a big part of that group & if the lakers have made it to the finals without Bosh, I highly doubt they’d break that core up. Plus Bosh would not be the big dog in la (wonder who is??) so I just don’t see this trade happening at all since he’s said he wants to be the big dog.
Bynum or Gasol
There are many reasons for why Bynum or Gasol might be available;
- Bosh is much younger than Gasol, and a better rebounder and post player
- Bynum, despite having obvious upside, is both injury prone, and not the scorer Bosh is
- For marketing purposes Bosh is a nice fit with LA, certainly much more so than Gasol
- If either Gasol or Bynum gets dealt, Bosh takes the PF position and whoever remains of Gasol/Bynum becomes the teams undisputed center. Far from depleting their frontcourt, it solidifies it (i.e. either Bosh/Gasol/Odom or Bosh/Bynum/Odom, is pretty awesome).
- Personally, I see the more likely deal being for Gasol because of the position match, and the fact Bosh is much younger.
i hope bosh wants to go to L.A or houston because they can give us the best trades

Yeah Bosh has to want to go to the team 1st of all.
If we land King James, I’m sure he would want to come to Chicago. But, If we sign him 1st you guys might only get a draft pick or nothing, because we can sign him straight up.
Bosh 2010!!!!!
Bosh would make more money if he left via sign and trade
So its difficult to argue that he would go anywhere, even to the Bulls straight up.
Texas has no taxes as well which is huge. He can be the man in Houston like he said he wanted to be, but if LBJ goes to Chicago, then he wouldn’t. I doubt he would want to play a Pau Gasol role especially in his prime.

i would agree to this deal from the bulls
pargo, noah,(some other player so salaries match) and there first round draft pick for bosh this trade would be better then anything the rockets can offer us
