Question
Ray do you have any further info on the 5 Canadians that play for Proctor Academy in the states, the only one I really heard of was Taevaunn Prince, who was nominated for the All American game. Not sure if I have seen these guys names affiliated with Canada Basketball, Here is the link to the roster
The guys on the roster haven’t really been associated with Canadian Basketball in the same breath as other prominent players. The guys for the most part are really good players but have left the local scene for better comp and a better chance of getting a scholarship, I think. At least that I know of.

Also
Also the NAIT Ooks of the ACAC in the CCAA, have a very strong team this year with a bunch of guys coming from toronto to play for them most notably shane cox, and shane reece, I have seen this team play and I bet they could give any CIS team a good game

I know a few guys on that roster but the other I don’t recall. I remember watching Rodel Grenaway in high school games and he was really good on a really good Father Henry Carr team that had other players go south on scholarships or to the CIS/OCAA. I remember Shane Cox’s name as well but I think he was a junior college guy that came back to Canada.
It’s good to see that these guys are doing big things over there. I know that those two guys I mentioned had real talent and really, them being in Canada is only helping the local game.
