Yahoo Sports is citing a report from DallasBasketball.com, which indicates that Dallas Mavericks' guard/forward, Josh Howard, believes he'll be traded by the NBA's trade deadline.
One of the teams in consideration apparently? - The Toronto Raptors.
That's all fine, but what would Toronto part with to make such a trade happen?
A quick look at the ESPN.com's Trade Machine shows that it would take about $10 Million in salary (Howard's making $10.8M in the last year of his deal) to make this work financially meaning that outside of Andrea Bargnani and Jose Calderon (both unlikely to be moved), Hedo Turkoglu would really be the only player with a big enough contract to make a deal like this work for only Howard in return.
However considering Hedo plays the 3 just like Shawn Marion, AND has essentially 5 years left on his deal, this doesn't look likely either.
The only thing that might make sense is something like this...and even then, that means giving up DeRozan...
