If Nate Robinson is available, should the Raptors at least kick the tires?
NY has made no secret that they need to improve at the PG position so Maybe something like this.
Calderon, POB, A Wright/Rasho – Darko and Nate. Darko can handle the 5 minutes every 3 games that Rasho plays now and the Raptors could run nate as the backup Pg. Best part we get out from under Calderon’s contract. Of course, NY would be stupid to do this deal as they would be admitting they have no chance of signing a significant FA. A guy can dream.
Found a way to make it work (in Raptors favour of course lol).
To Toronto – Nate Robinson
To NY – TJ Ford, Jeff Foster, Brandon Rush
TO Indiana – Cutino Mobley, Jared Jeffries, Marcus Banks.
Why would NY do this. – They are terrible shape at the PG position and taking a half season flier on Ford might be worthe risk. They also get a better player in Foster (though he wouldn’t be available until the offseason).
Why Indiana Would do this – Obviously Jeffries is playing right now and Getting 10 mil to come off the books plus getting something back for Ford.
Through a few 2nd round picks and everyone is happy
Let us never speak....
of Nate Robinson in a Raps uni. The guy is out of control on the court, jacks up way too many shots and has zero basketball IQ. Every once in a while when I watch Knicks games he always does something that makes me scratch my head…he also clearly drives D’Antoni nuts.

agree with howland
Agree 100 % I wouldn’t want nate here either and if this trade goes down with the. Celtics and knicks I don’t understand it from a celtics point of view..they need a back up point guard in case rondo gets hurt too.not get a offence minded no defence guard..doesn’t make sense to me
