8:00pm Jarvis Christian @ McNeese State
With only one game featuring a Canadian on tap tonight, by default our Marquee Match Up is McNeese State taking on Jarvis Christian. The opponent is not important in this game, though. The most important thing is that you are going to focus you attention on Vancouver’s Diego Kapelan. All he’s done this season, and every other season for that matter, is put the rock in the basket. Against Washington and Miami (FL), Kapelan’s averaging 19.5 points and 3 rebounds. Those numbers aren’t too far off from his season averages of 17.3 ppg and 2.5 rpg. He’s upped his scoring average this season by about 5 points over last and he’s shooting 45% from the three averaging a little over three makes a game. If you haven’t seen Kapelan at work yet, this is the night to do so.
