The NC-Double-Eh Schedule - Dec. 2

In today's Marquee Match Up we have a battle of the old and new school in Long Island.  Find out who else is playing tonight right here ...

Star-divide

Marquee Match Up

7:00pm Robert Morris @ Long Island

This is a game that should have rare situation:  pit two Canadians against each other head to head.  Long Island’s Kyle Johnson has been holding down the starting small forward spot for the Blackbirds for four years.  Yann Charles is a newbie who is currently holding down the three spot for Robert Morris.  Johnson is a good two way player and Charles is going to be a good two way player.  Johnson is starting off this season well putting up 14.6 points, 6.2 rebounds per game to lead his team in both categories to go with an assist and a half and a steal.  Charles is averaging 6.4 points, 5 rebounds and a block and a half.  Not exactly even but you can see where I’m going with this.  This is almost like an old school versus new school type game and really, what can be more fun to watch than that?

And here is where everyone else is playing ...

7:00pm Arizona State @ Baylor

7:00pm Davidson @ Charleston

7:00pm St. Francis (PA) @ St. Francis (NY)

7:00pm UMKC @ IPFW

7:30pm Murray State @ Eastern Kentucky

7:45pm Tennessee-Martin @ Morehead State

8:00pm Western Carolina @ Samford – There has been a reversal of roles of sorts at Western Carolina.  Harouna Mutombo has been coming off the bench of late and Keaton Cole has been starting.  Cole has played 26 or more minutes in the last four games and is averaging 10 points. In that same four game span, Mutombo has averaged 6 points, 4 boards and 2 and change assists in 20 minutes off the bench.  Both have been playing well in their current roles and it will be interesting to see who they play in this one.

8:00pm Cleveland State @ Green Bay

8:15pm Mercer @ Belmont – I don’t think Guelph, ON’s Jon House gets enough exposure so we’re gonna do that for him.  He’s a senior captain and he’s a dead-eye outside shooter.  He’s only averaging a modest 5.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists in about 16 minutes per game.  Catch his game while you can.
