RaptorsHQ Intern Competition - Finalist Number 2, Sasha Kalra
The HQ intern search winds down...
Yesterday we kicked off our last round in the HQ's "Intern Search," by posting a quick video of Sean Tepper, one of our three finalists as we look for a new HQ team member.
In today's video, finalist number two, Sasha Kalra, talks with the HQ's Jayne Erickson about himself, the Raps, and even Bill Simmons.
Again, on Thursday we'll be polling HQ readers asking for help in selecting the top option from our three candidates, but without further ado, here's Sasha:

great answers
Awesome answers, I liked your answer to the jock strap question way more than yesterday’s candidate. Your vid+ article is the best, hope they hire you!

good stuff
got my vote the jockstrap answer was hilarious hahaha
agreed on bill simmons, he’s one of my favourite writers to read along with michael wilbon and dan lebatard. his podcast + lebatard’s radio show are great too.
Sasha’s passion and knowledge of basketball is unlike any of my friends. Being around him and reading his material has only increased my knowledge and fandom of basketball.
His savvy and writing style would be a welcome addition to RaptorsHQ.

Judging by the usernames of the dudes posting (never seen them before)
Sasha might’ve asked his friends to sign up and add positive comments ;)
Smooooooooooth
I did post the video to my facebook and twitter feed hoping for some friends to check it out and give me some feedback.
As for asking friends to sign up and add positive comments? Don’t mean to burst your bubble but that never happened.

Didn't mean it as a slight :P
My bad if it came off that way. Just something I noticed. Keep up the good work regardless.
I noticed it to
The comments seem rigged a bit and if that is true it probably isn’t his fault. I have a lot of friends that I would do the same thing for if they posted it on my Facebook. It doesn’t take away from his quality responses. We just read those comments with a grain of salt.
I live on a ski hill in BC and I don’t know Sasha at all. I love the Raptors and have been watching them religiously since day 1. I only want him to get the job if he’s the best candidate. So far, he is. Good luck Sasha, unless the third person is even better. Good job either way.

Well done
I thought he was composed and answered the questions very well. Loved the Peterson shot against Cleveland and the fact he loved it because he was there live to see it.
The Demar answer was creative and funny. I have only good things to say about this post and I liked his tone and sense of humour.
Thanks! And the shot was amazing…i left out the part where Damon Jones won the game at the buzzer with his own corner 3 pointer…i refuse to acknowledge it happened

I’ve enjoyed reading his blog, Fanboy Anonymous, and his work clearly indicates that he has a high basketball IQ as well as a passion for the game.
Sasha would be the perfect fit to add to the RaptorsHQ team.
Keep it up!

Wrong account, oops!
Sorry, my laptop was still logged in to my boyfriend’s account.
Good luck Sasha!
Sasha is my son so I think he would be great!
Just kidding, never met the guy, but I had already told Franchise on Friday night that his article was my favourite. I also liked the interview. This kid seems like a keeper.

Hmmm...
… Sasha is a much less pretty woman than I had anticipated…
LOL… I mean, ummm, sorry, nevermind…
Don't miss out
He seems to be a smooth operator based on his interview. You’d be fools not to pick him.
