Anthony Bennet
He doesn’t seem to be getting too much playing time at Findlay or am I wrong? One of the scouts said he may have more potential at tight end than PF. Have you seen a lot of him and what is his upside?
I’ve seen the kid play in person and he is a real athete. He reminds me of Jason Maxiell type of player-big bodied and really bouncy. He’s got some perimeter skills and is a beast down low because he’s really, really wide. I think he can be a great player in college as a tweener (think MSU’s Draymond Green).
He may have more potential at TE simply because he’s very quick for someone his size. I think if he transitioned to the gridiron he’d be great.
I think getting more playing time at Findlay will be a little tough though. They have a lot of guys that play similar positions and really at the HS school level, he’d be used more as a PF (he’s 6’7" but about 240). i think he can be a great player in college but after that, we’d have to see how he is in D1 before passing judgement.
