According to Eric Smith, Peja Stojakovic, who missed Sunday's game against Atlanta with a swollen left knee, did not practice with the Raptors yesterday. He will be re-evaluated today and his status for Wednesday’s home game versus the Wizards has yet to be determined.

$110 million in career earnings...
… plus endorsement money from adidas, etc.
Mindboggling is definitely the word for it.

checks
“Walker is reportedly joining the Idaho Stampede — assuming he passes a routine background check
This will be the second time this year Walker has attempted to pass a check, with the first attempt resulting in felony charges."
Now, that is funny in a macabre kinda way!

Speaking of efficiency...
Hollinger’s latest PER numbers are out… Bargnani is 110th in the league in PER. Interstingly, 6 spots behind Vince Carter. Vince Carter for Christ’s sake…
wheres mikthaniel
he’d love to argue bargnanis stats

Unless it's a bogus made up stat like...
He probably gives up 80% of the opposition’s points, but we don’t count that…

I’m going to ask Santa to bring you the ability to recognize sarcasm or the ability to use quotes in context. It may be asking a lot, I know…

Because, as you might recall, my sarcastic comment was in reply to your previous comment about Bargnani scoring 80% of the team’s points… does that not qualify as one of your bogus made up stats? LOL

Ha Ha … too soon for a burn?
Alright, I’ll let you steam a bit…
But for the record, if you believe in Santa still I can see why you believe Bargnani shouldn’t be a starter… reality is waiting whenever you feel like joining us…
LOL… okay so that was just a burn too… if we had an ACTUAL center we could rely on in the middle, I would start Davis ahead of Bargnani (based on what I heard of his first game I didn’t get to see) at the 4 for his energy out of the gates… he looks promising…
But, until we acquire a REAL center, Bargs starts by default, every game…
No...
Statistics are a measure of quantifiable performance maybe, but each players’ value is measured by more factors than what shows up on a score sheet…
Ask Reggie Evans if his only value to the team is grabbing some rebounds…
Ignore leadership, energy, toughness, popularity… pfft what are those things good for?
Bargs Stats
Not sure how competent they are, but Hoopstats ranks Bargs at 84th, with an eff of 15.1

NBA.com has Andrea at 82nd with an eff of 15.29.

Link to Defensive Stand's head explode ;)
As an admirer of Doug Smith’s fine work and one of the biggest believers in his unaturally advanced basketball acumen, I am sure that Defensive Stance will no doubt have been weeping for joy as he read his favourite columnist’s story in today’s (Dec 1) Toronto Star featuring his favourite player. Here is the link if anyone missed it:
P.S. Yes, this is a 100% tongue-in-cheek comment, and meant to be good-natured.
Haha. Thanks for the link. My head didn’t explode, but I do have a migraine after reading that (kidding).
