5 players primed for a breakout year | Sporting News
Andrea Bargnani and Amir Johnson are two of the five players primed for a breakout, according to Sean Deveney. Although, for an article that bears today's date, it should probably note that Johnson is now a Raptor.

Urg. That Raptors Republic report doesn’t take into account that DeRozan is going to play major minutes and heck, so might Belinelli… And neither have really got good stats to look back on, so calculating the team PER is pretty useless right now.

5 players primed for breakout
Amir Johnson is also on that list, though I guess it’s a little old since he’s listed with the Bucks
Excellent Links Mr Defensive Stance
Those of us (me) who thought O’Bryant should be cut (in favour of Pops) can accept he will on the team as a 1.6 mill practice player looking good in his suit. And, if he keeps a positive attitude and is willing to take a 900,000 pay cut, he will probably be on our team the following year.
Amir Johnson is third on that list of breakout players? Realistically, he’s our 12th man, but you never know. That article was dated today, dfp.
That’s funny — I clipped that article without even scrolling through the rest of the players (since Bargnani was listed right at the top). Deveney seems to be suffering from “Charley Rosen Syndrome” since he’s listing Johnson with the Bucks.

In For a Sweet Season
Amir Johnson is gonna make it hard for Triano to not play him. I think he’ll be a fan favourite. Lets hope we got a case of a high school pick, not yet finding his place. If he comes into his own, and Bargnani continues his progress watch out for the Toronto Raptors.
Colangelo has done an amazing job. He’s picked everybodies pockets and has assembled, potentially, a truly good team. Any criticism of his moves this offseason sorta bugs me.
Two weeks ago we would take a bag of basketball for Banks, now you don’t want a 3 point shooter for him? You could make an argument that we lack a 3 point shooter, and now you won’t give up Banks for him. People saying Carroll won’t get minutes are wrong. I’m not talking major but it will be more than Banks can ever offer.
Anyone who is worried that its a longer deal hasn’t paid attention to BC since he has arrived.
The Dream has died....
I thought you were talking about Hakeem O. when I glanced them over first!!!!!!!!!!
