VC ... LOVE HIM OR HATE HIM?

A name most Toronto Fans would LOVE to forget. Some may argue that he had already been forgotten, others will say he will never be forgotten. One thing is for sure, love him or hate him, he put Toronto Basketball on the map. More after the JUMP ....

Let me bring you back to your FAVORITE relationship ....

You know the one I am talking about. That ONE relationship with that HOT girl that left you before you were ready to part ways. The one who would turn heads and actually made you feel "cooler" in her presence. You probably never had such thoughts before in your life, but something about this girl had you actually PLANNING your OWN wedding! She was the girl that was suppose to be with you FOREVER ... until she dumped you. Sound familiar? Vince Carter left most Toronto fans feeling this exact way. Now, some people had already written VC off while he was here because they could see the writing on the wall. Where the love making was great before (unbelievable dunks), she started withholding the sexual favours (no longer dunking on breaks) ... The effort on a night to night basis just simply wasn't there. The "bring it when i want to bring it" attitude was undeniable. Still, how many of you felt proud to be a Canadian when he put down some of the best dunks ever seen in that memorable dunk off? Or even though he was rockin the afro and representing USA and threw DOWN over that 7 footer and was yelling all the way back to the other side of the court thought, "THIS is the Vince we NEED?" . As much as most hated him just before he left, the number of number 15 jersey was still dominant at the ACC aka The House That Vince Built! Now I realize it pains a lot of you to read these words but prior to Carter getting here .. I can't even say we were an AFTER thought, because that means someone other than the faithful was actually thinking about us. So what now?

Do we boo him like crazy and to continue trying to throw him off his game when it appears that it only makes him stronger? Or do we let it go and stop acting like the bitter ex boyfriend?

I personally say we let it go and move on ... after all it is a business. Don't fall in love with these players because they are not falling in love with you. At the end of the day it comes down to them taking care of them. We do no different in our own day to day. I am not saying we should cheer him on and support him .. but at some point we MUST move on.

Lets let our wins do the talking ... But I KNOW what I believe .. I want to hear what YOU believe ....
