Ray I dont understand why Ro Russells grassroots Canada Basketball and Wayne Dawkins Phase 1 Basketball is not linked up with the Canada Basketball website?. Both sites dont even have a link to the Canada Basketball site…. it makes sense to me if basketball is to grow and improve in Canada then Canada Basketball and programs like these should be working together in order to bring the best players together and give Canada the best chance to succeed.
Links to Ro and Waynes sites

Mystro, you bring up a good point. If you’ve checked out other similar club team websites like the Brookwood Elite out of Quebec http://www.brookwoodelite.com/home/home.html or Drive Basketball out of BC http://www.drivebasketball.com/ you’ll see that most do not have the links to Canada Basketball. I’m not sure why they don’t have a direct affiliation with Canada Basketball but that is the impression that is out there.
If you were able to catch the last installment of The Score’s On The Brink (see link above), there is a mention by Coach Leo that there seems to be a disjoint in the various organizations throughout the country. For whatever reason that is the case and it will take a little time before it gets rectified. Until then, we can only hope for the best right now I suppose.
Canada Basketball does make an effort to bring the best players together but that is always limited in some way by schedules, commitments and other things out of their control. Again, we can only hope that this situation will be rectified sooner than later.
