Predicting the Outcome
In response to a reader's request we thought it would be interesting to have a place where everyone can make their W-L prediction for the upcoming season. Howland's prediction, as set out in his preview is .500.
What about the rest of the HQ team?
Franchise: 42-40
Vicious D: 46-36
Defensive Stance: 45-37
Ray Bala: 47-35
How do you think the Raps will finish? Put your prediction in the comments below and we can check back once the season wraps up....

If I remember correctly, the 2006-2007 season (which is tied for most franchise wins at 47) had a starting line-up of Rasho, CB4, Garbajosa, AP and TJ. Our current roster is better at the 5, 4, 3 and 1 and even maybe the 2. Therefore, it has to be more than 47 wins.
This coupled with that age cliff that the Celtics have been ignoring, the best friends that Shaq has accumulated throughout his travels and the glue that Orlando replaced with toxic spit, the top 3 didn’t get any stronger.
50 it is.
put me down for 49 wins because i agree with zona but i think the east is better but so are the raps i think they will be just shy of a 50 win season so ya i think 49 wins is where its at and i think tht even though raps dont have good rebounders int he starting 5 there bench is full of rebounders who will make up for the deficincies of the starting 5 and u never knw maybe bargs work with mosses malone int he offseason will help his rebounding and derozan can be a good rebounder so maybe the starting 5 wont be thth bad rebounding but rebounding isnt a issue on this team
